Butcher

The Meat Barn is currently seeking an experienced butcher to join their team of dedicated staff.

The successful applicant will have;

  • Trade qualified or suitably proven experience
  • A friendly, approachable attitude and be a positive team member
  • Knowledge of portion cutting and packing wholesale
  • An understanding of stock take and stock rotation
  • A can-do attitude whilst working safely
  • The ability to communicate constructively with all stakeholders

Above Award wages with a rotating roster over a 6 day week.

This hands-on role will suit a fit energetic person looking for a secure position within the meat industry.

Customer Service Specialist

At the Meat Barn we recognise the importance of providing exceptional Customer Service and our Customer Service Specialists play a key role in the success of our business as they are the first point of contact for all our customers. We are now seeking individuals with a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.

About the role:

As a Customer Service Specialist your top priority will be the customers. Other duties include serving customers on the register, preparing and packing fresh meat products, replenishing stock in the store and ensuring tidy presentation of the selling area.  The Meat Barn operates 6 days a week, so you must be willing to work on a roster Monday to Saturday and we are located in Warrnambool, Victoria.

About you:

  • You must have a passion for providing the highest level of customer service
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent presentation
  • A strong work ethic and be highly motivated to learn
  • The ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Reliable
